AN AMERICAN TRADITION
Here are two Friendship Quilts that I helped organize. Friendship Quilts are a tradition throughout American quilting history. They bring together the work of a group for a special person for a special reason, usually created in church groups. Ann's quilt includes blocks from family and friends when she went through intensive medical treatment. Sara's quilt includes blocks of "westies", Westhighland White Terriers, created by their owners for a member of the Westies Unite, an online group, when she faced medical struggles.
